M&G has announced that trading of units in the M&G Property Portfolio fund has been temporarily suspended.
Brexit-related uncertainty, in addition to structural shifts negatively affecting the UK retail sector, have prompted unusually high outflows from the fund. M&G has therefore decided to suspend trading in the M&G Property Portfolio fund in order to protect investors interests.
What does this mean for ASI property funds?
“Our intention is to closely monitor the impact on investor sentiment towards the Aberdeen UK Property Fund and the SLI UK Real Estate Fund.
We will maintain this stance on an ongoing basis.
As always, our prime focus is to act in the best interests of our investors”, announces M&G.
